...Ijeoma Offor wins House No. 17

Before now, we would send a team of our members to search the hinterlands for the poorest of the poor to benefit from our house for widows. Today, for the first time, we allowed the women to choose from amongst them who would be owner of the brand new house to be built by the Foundation.

We wanted them to ballot, they elected to choose three deserving amongst them. They agreed any of the three is good to go. The three went to the final ballot. Ijeoma Offor of Umuakpa Item in Bends Local Government won.

Today too, ManofGod said he is not sure if there is any tradition that forbids women like them from receiving gift of cow. He gave them one and asked that they kill, roast, savour and enjoy the fat cow.

We will remember Season 18 for providing us the opportunity to do more than the usual cash gifts, clothing and food

Thanks for making this possible. We are hitting 2020 with the expectations of

1. Building four more houses for widows

2. Paying WAEC fees for 200+ candidates

3. Continuing with scholarship for 50 undergraduates

4. Return again Dec 30, 2020 for Season 19 of Widows Party
